Welcome to my creative space, my home!

Why start a blog now after so many years of posting fun bakes and quilt projects online to social platforms? I'm probably a bit behind the times. If I'm being honest, I'm not a great writer, and blogs are about telling stories. The reason why I'm finally jumping in is because I really want to share my quilting passions and some excellent recipes with friends old and new and this seems like the best way to do that.

Bear with me while I tell you tales and use completely too many commas, and basically butcher my native language in written form. The good news is, I know the difference between their, they're, and there. Pretty sure that's where the good news ends though.

What to expect

The number one reason for starting a blog and website is, I plan on sharing new quilt patterns I've created. The first release for the Jeweled Lattice pattern (right) is coming soon, and another will follow soon after. I've been working on both this summer and they're finally ready to share with the world. They will be available to purchase here in the Shop tab!

I'll also share recipes from my kitchen. Chocolate chip cookies anyone? A lot of recipes I use come from family recipe cards. Many are hybrid creations from the many, many cookbooks I own.
